So why the change of name and content you might be asking? A couple of weeks back I went into the ER and then forced myself to take a week off from the computer. That helped me to regain my focus, find my creativity (once again) and build my drive back up to offer something of value - something of benefit to you.
I've been publishing online for over five years and it got to the point where I just found myself copying and pasting - how boring is that? My excitement for publishing an Ezine was gone for a long time. It was more of a boring routine for me. That certainly is NOT a benefit to you. As a matter of fact, I'm sure many of you were bored with Virtual Profit Ezine.
So after taking the week off I was determined to make huge changes online - one of the first being this Ezine.
Thus the birth of The Raybourn Effect.
I hope you enjoy the transformation. More importantly, I hope you are able to benefit.

Buying Hits To Your Site Isn't Going to Get You Sales...or is it?
For some of you it won't. For the others - it will.
Many people believe that buying hits to their site will immediately generate sales. Hmmm, how about that? That's optimism that is (1) to be commended or (2) to be laughed at.

Free Outlook Express backup program
This is a great and necessary tool for those of you that use Outlook Express.
I've been online eight years and I've lost everything a couple of times in my Outlook Express. Now that I have this tool, I don't have any worries. Twice a week I use this program to backup my Outlook to a CD. Notice I said CD? Don't back it up to your computer - what if that crashed? Your safe bet is to a writable CD. If you don't have one, find a storage place online.
When you visit the site, you'll notice there is only a free trial version availabe - but you can get it free. Spoofed websites - know what you are viewing - free tool
Is it really Paypal or E-gold asking you to update your credit information? Is the link valid? If you are new online and have clicked the link to update your credit card info - you aren't alone. We've all done it. Here's a tool that sits on your browser and tells you what site it really is. Don't let fall for spoofed sites. They put a lot of time into creating mirrored sites - but they are not always real.
If you EVER doubt a website, simply close the browser and type in the actual domain. Example: You get an email from Paypal (and they are looking more and more official!) asking you to update your credit card info and confirm your password. You click on the link they provide and there's a very official site. It looks like Paypal. Well, if you doubt it, close the window and open a new browser. Type in paypal.com and login to your account. If Paypal really need updated info, you'd see it.
I'm only using Paypal as an example - as that site is the most spoofed of any. This tool works for any site.

Some paintings of George Washington depict him standing behind a desk with one arm behind his back, while others show both legs and both arms. Legend has it that in those days, painters charged prices based on not how many people were to be painted, but on how many limbs. Each arm and leg would cost the buyer more.
